I went out today with the express intention to buy a few seeds, came home with:
Two types of green onion, peas, eggplant, lettuces, summer squash, artichokes, parsely, brussel sprouts, green beans and cardinal climber and love in a puff for fun.
I plan to recycle an old gutter by fastening it to the top of the garden fence, fill it with dirt and the climbing flower vines.
Here's a pic of the seeds we will use this year and our gnome "Mario"
ooh you ARE ambitious! Well it seems like it to a non-gardener anyway :-) Wishing you loads of luck as I plan on getting my garden joy vicariously through you!
ReplyDeleteIm going to try the cold frame out pretty soon with a handful of lettuce seeds!
DeleteHahaha, I always say I am going to buy a few packets and then I end up with so much more than I need!
ReplyDeleteAint it the truth Mimi! Seed packets are oh so hard to resist, and make the neatest, cutest sound when ya shake them.
DeleteYou are so far ahead of me on the seeds with your sprouting already. Looks like you have some very interesting seeds here too. I never heard of "Love-in-a-Puff". I did get some Pumpkins on a Stick seeds to try for decorations this fall. LOL!I got a start on my seeds this morning since it was snowing outdoors. Have a wonderful week.
